They often say “put the word wedding before anything and the cost quadrupals.” But that is in fact false. What actually happens is that most players in the wedding industry are bad communicators.
Bunnik Town council for example says clearly on the website that Rijnauwen is an official wedding location. If one wishes to get married somewhere that isn’t an official wedding location then additional costs are charged.
Yet they billed us just under 200 euros for planning the ceremony at an external wedding location. So what they really mean on the website is: We can send someone to an official wedding location and charge you more cash, or you can get married at the town hall for no additional costs. That is just misleading. And again playing on peoples emotions. A little more clear information would help so much. I don’t understand why this happens or who OK’s this kind of shoddy communication.
