Mortgage tax

Yesterday I learned something valuable but easy. It is possible to be married and both own a house and still both get a tax return on your mortgage. When you get married you automatically become fiscal partners. And I had come to understand that as fiscal partners you can only get a tax return on one mortgage even you both own houses and both got a tax return when you weren’t married.

Turns out you can just add up your taxes and file that under two addresses. Easy and convenient.
