I was sorting through the things I’d done for design 101 yesterday, just to make sure I have everything in one place. I came across Isamu Noguchi, a Japanese-American artist. I read the Wikipedia entry and then spent way too long clicking through images of his work. Some of which really are fantastic, like the flying fountains in Osaka, Japan and a few of the furniture pieces.
Before the design 101 course I never really paid much attention to sculpture, but now I’m slowly developing a taste for it.
