Baking on the grill

Like most Dutch people I fired up the barbecue yesterday. But I didn’t want the usual readily available cheap meat as a vehicle for beer, I figured this was a good a time as any to grill something I normally would not. So besides some marinated chicken and corn on the cob I baked some bread. Yes, bread.

The recipe was for flatbreads, by Jamie, almost of course. A simple dough with added herbs. Pat the dough flat and put it on the grill until the outside is toasted and the inside is cooked through. This only takes a couple of minutes.

It was a little dry and it needed more salt, but hey, it was easy and edible. Perfect for a lazy, sunny evening.
